New Ways of Doing Business

There are things we all have to spend money on.  There’s no way to get around this.  We all have to spend for housing, utilities, food, clothing, health & fitness, some level of entertainment, etc.  Since we can’t escape this, then we need to find ways and means to spend less for what we’re already spending money on, while getting the same value.   

There are several credit cards and charge cards that give rebates and gift cards.  One money saving strategy is to put your funds in an interest bearing account and pay for purchases with a rebate card or cashback cards.  When the bill comes, pay off the whole balance.  Also, a card with a 0% interest rate will give you more time to earn interest on your money while putting your purchases on the card.  Most cards that offer the 0% interest rate do so for a limited time only, so be sure to pay the whole balance before the interest period begins. 

Blue from American Express is a credit card that has no annual fee, 0% interest rate  for the first 15 months and a grace period up to 20 days.  You can pay for your purchases in full or pay over time.
